About

Hi! I'm Jen.

Based on my seasoned experience with acne, I’ll provide no-fuss skincare advice. I'm excited to share my favorite products and methods with you all!

My skincare philosophy: try everything within reason, and stick with what has efficacy. Whether that's Korean skincare, dietary adjustments, medical prescriptions, or anything in between, I'll tell you all about the experience and the results! I'm not married to one school of thought when it comes to skincare. I love variety, and my skin used to be so bad, I've had to cast a wide net to figure out what works for me.

In my early 30s, I'm at the age when I'm still dealing with acne while on the verge of getting wrinkles, so skincare is a big deal for me. I'll document everything I'm doing to make my skin smoother and more radiant right here on this blog. See here for my current skincare regimen at any given time.

When I'm not on the prowl for the latest in acne and wrinkle prevention, I make lots of desserts and karaoke my heart out. I have a day job in marketing at a tech company in San Francisco.

What my skin is like
  • Skin type: Sensitive, combination; of Korean descent
  • Skin concerns: Acne, oiliness/shine, wrinkles, sunspots, dry/flaky patches
  • Skin shade: Right in between Custard and Ginger in NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
